Want it Wednesday!

This stunning Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent "Long Ruffle Slip Dress" is my want it item of the week. I am such a huge fan of Maxi dresses- they are so flattering, beautiful, and stylish. Maxi dresses are my must-have item for Spring, which I am especially excited for Spring since it is so cold and snowy where I am right now.
This Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent maxi dress is exclusive to Shopbop. This beautiful V-neck printed woven 100% silk maxi dress features a ruffled bottom hem with a smocked elastic waist. This dress is lined at the bust and has adjustable spaghetti straps.
I love this boho and hip style by Cynthia Vincent- it is subtle, chic and demure, while still sexy. Adding some nude wedges and golden jewelry with a pony-tail and light makeup would totally complete this look.

Tarte EmphasEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Shadow / Liner

I have become obsessed with Tarte's EmphasEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Shadow / Liner! I have literally worn it every single day since I received it. This product is a two-in-one shadow and liner by Tarte. It is reinforced with high-performance natural Amazonian white clay, which is "nature's most perfect ingredient".
This shadow/liner is completely waterproof and SO pigmented. Every jar comes with a full-sized double-ended brush applicator. This applicator is perfect on one side to apply a very thin and precise line, while the other side is great for smudging the color onto lids as an all-over shadow.
This product creates a long-lasting, high-definition look, and is perfect for both everyday and dramatic night looks. I personally have this in black, and it is so deeply pigmented, I love it!
The Tarte brand of cosmetics is known for their amazingly natural products. This liner/shadow is formulated WITHOUT Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals and Phthalates. It is dermatologist-tested and a cruelty-free product. This jar is airtight recycled glass, topped with a repurposed aluminum lid, for optimal freshness.

You can purchase the Tarte EmphasEYES Waterproof Clay Shadow / Liner at Sephora or at www.tartecosmetics.com

OPI Axxium Soak-Off Gel Polish

Regular manicures are so 2010! I am always looking for new nail trends and ways to make my manicures last longer. I have previously posted on my experienced with CalGel (Click here: Fab-YOU-lous: BEST MANICURE OF MY LIFE!!!) and Shellac (Click here: Fab-YOU-lous: CND Shellac Hybrid Nail Polish). At my last trip to the nail salon, I tried OPI Axxium for the first time and I wanted to share my experience and the results with you.

OPI Axxium is a soak-off gel nail polish that lasts for at least 14 days without any chips or cracks. Much like CalGel and Shellac there is absolutely no drying time involved, which is always a plus. OPI Axxium is cured under a UV light, which makes it hard, shiny, and completely dry when your treatment is finished. Axxium is an odorless gel that is applied to your natural nail by a nail technician with a small brush. The treatment starts with a base coat, followed by color coats (or in my case the French application), and then finished with a top coat, all sealed in under the UV lamp.
As seen in the above photo, I chose to have a French finish put on my nails instead of using a plain color; however, OPI Axxium is known and loved by OPI enthusiasts for their color choices, which include some of OPI's most beloved and popular shades. My nails look amazingly shiny and are perfectly smooth, and they are stronger than ever!
Above is what my nails looked like exactly 14 days after application. Not a chip or crack anywhere!
So how does OPI Axxium compare to Shellac and CalGel? Well, I have to say that CalGel is still my #1 favorite of them all, both Shellac and OPI Axxium are at a close second, and a regular manicure finishes last. I personally felt that both the Shellac and Axxium offered pretty much the same thing overall, making them basically interchangeable in my mind. I would completely recommend any of these services to everyone- if you hate waiting around for your nails to dry, want a manicure to last 2-3 weeks without any chips at all, and want a stunningly smooth and shiny mirror-finished nail, then Shellac, Axxium, or CalGel are for you!

My OPI Axxium manicure cost $30; Prices for this service vary per salon, but usually range from about $25-$50.

Golden Globes Fashion!

I love award shows because of the hours upon hours of AMAZING fashion! From the most amazing gowns to horrible fashion-don't moments, this year's Golden Globe awards had it all. So without any further adieu, here are some of my favorite looks:

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
If I ever attended a red carpet awards show event, this is EXACTLY what I would wear! This Marchesa is so stunning and over the top. Everything about this look is absolutely perfect, I wouldn't change a single thing.
The shoes just take this look to another level- These studded golden yellow Christian Louboutin heels seal the deal for me, handing Olivia Wilde the best dressed award in my opinion!

Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab
This gorgeous, delicate, romantic gown is another one of my favorites of the night. This dress suits Scarlett perfectly, and compliments her skin tone and hair color beautifully. I adore the delicate and intricate details throughout the entire gown, definitely a show-stopper with lovely simple styling. Overall, this is a great look!

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein Collection
Emma Stone, is that you?? Emma Stone looks not so much like usual self  with her new blonde hair, tan skin, and ultra-slim figure. Either way, I do think that she looks absolutely beautiful in this subtle and unique Calvin Klein Collection coral gown. She definitely stood out in a good way at the Globes this year, she is just lovely!

What an amazing show, I loved every second... Who was your best dressed?? Leave your ideas in a comment on this post
