Deborah Lippmann Stripper To Go

Boy, do I love glitter nail polish- Painting on those thousands of sparkling flakes makes my nails look oh so pretty, but taking off this polish is a different story. Every time that I am tempted by my plethora of sparkling polish bottles, I always find myself thinking- Ugh, if I choose that sparkly polish I will have to take it off, what a pain! Well, fashionistas, I have found the perfect product to solve all of your nail polish dilemmas- meet Deborah Lippmann’s "Stripper To Go"!
Bring as obsessed with nail polish as I am, I love trying all fo the latest products in nail care. I received these Stripper To Go mitts in my June Birchbox (Click here for more info on Birchbox: Fab-YOU-lous: Birchbox)

This sweet smelling, award-winning, totally effective nail polish remover is my new favorite! And how convenient- it is available in handy to-go packets! Each packet contain a “mitt” that has been soaked with The Stripper, a gentle but effective polish remover. The lavender formula has a soothing scent, plus aloe to moisturize nails and cuticles.
You simply open up the packet and slip the mitt onto your fingertip to remove your old polish. One mitt will definitely last you long enough to remove all of the polish on both of your hands. These are perfect for emergency polish removal or for traveling, they are super small and sealed in a little packet so they are safe to take with you anywhere.

I am so excited that I discovered this product- Bring it on, sparkle nail polishes, I'm not scared of your removal anymore!

You can purchase the Stripper To Go Mitts at Birchbox and some department stores (Such as Nordstrom).
Retail Price: 6 mitts for $12

July 2011 Birchbox

This month's Birchbox is yet again one of my favorites! If you are unfamiliar with Birchbox, click here for all the details: Fab-YOU-lous: Birchbox. This month's box was curated by the fabulous Cynthia Rowley- she picked some of her favorite beauty essentials for July's box and us lucky Birchbox subscribers all received a sampling of her favorites in our boxes!
My July box included:

  • AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream
  • Philosophy Purity Made Simple, One step Facial Cleanser
  • Redken Shine Flash Glistening Mist
  • Zoya Touch Collection Nail Polish in Shay
  • and a KIND bar (healthy granola bar) as an extra treat!

I really love this month's products- The AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream is the perfect size to throw in your purse, I love keeping a small hand cream moisturizer on me and this one surely won't disappoint. It has a nice smell to it and doesn't leave your hands sticky with residue.
Philosophy Purity Made Simple is a one step facial cleanser that has a cult following. I have been using this amazing cleanser every single day for quite some time now. Even though I already have a full-sized bottle, I am SO happy that I received this in a deluxe sized sample because now this little bottle is perfect for traveling! If you have yet to try this product, I hope you receive it in your box because it is amazing!
I used the Redken Shine Flash Glistening Mist this morning and I can tell that I am going to like this product. I sprayed it on my hair and it added tons of shine without the stiffness of a normal hairspray- this glossy finish will look amazing whenever I curl my hair- it will add the amazing shine and lock in my curls, but won't get stiff looking or crinkly feeling. Again it is the perfect size for traveling, and I know I will be getting lots of use out of it!
I am loving Zoya nail polish- I have two bottles now, both of which I have received through Birchbox. Their colors are extremely pigmented and last on your nails for about a week, chip-free! I can't wait to try out this fabulous color "Shay" from their Touch Collection- it is a beautiful nude tone, perfectly on trend right now.
I hope you all enjoy your Birchboxes this month :) Did you get any different items? Let us know in a comment on this post! Enjoy, fashionistas!

Femmegems- Jewelry Haul!

On a fabulous weekend trip to Greenwich, CT with my amazing mother, I scored some fantastic fashion, jewelry, and beauty gems all along Greenwich ave.
Some of my absolute favorite purchases of the day have to be all of these lovely jewels from Femmegems, this amazing boutique that makes of their own jewelry by hand right in the store! You can also create your own by telling them exactly what you desire and they will whip it together for you- how amazing! Everything there was so lovely and chic, it was hard only choosing a few pieces as I loved so many designs.
I couldn't resist this jaw-dropping bright coral beaded multi-layer necklace. I have been looking for something like it for quite some time now, and this fulfilled everything I was looking for. It is such a statement piece and is extremely well made and of high quality. This is perfect for both summer and fall and will make any outfit! I put it on immediately after purchasing it, I will definitely be getting a ton of use out of this bold statement piece.
Next I picked up this fabulous bangle bracelet featuring glistening white stones and gold hardware. I can tell this is a piece that I will be adding to my daily jewelry ensemble as it goes with basically everything, is super chic, sophisticated, and classic. I adore everything about this stunning bangle bracelet.
Last but not least was a necessity once I saw it- I buy basically everything I see that has a fleur de lis and this delicate necklace did not disappoint. This beautiful fleur de lis charm with sea green bead is just so lovely, I had to have it!

Femmegems, in only one visit, has become one of my favorite little boutiques, I will definitely be going back there again- I love a fabulous handmade piece of jewelry- all of their pieces are unique, well made, and stand out in all the right ways! Hope you all enjoyed my jewelry haul- do you have a favorite jewelry boutique? Let me know in a comment on this post :)
