Want it Wednesday!

This week's "Want It Wednesday" item is a new take on jewelry- I have featured necklaces, bracelets, rings, pretty much everything you can think of, but never this... Introducing the Belle Noel Hair Chain!

If you are unfamiliar with the brand, Belle Noel is a collaboration between celebrity jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad and fashionista Kim Kardashian. The line includes statement, everyday, and evening accessories that speak to Kim's personal panache and reflect her myriad influences. Inspirations for Belle Noel jewelry range from classic movie stars like Carole Lombard, Vivien Leigh, and Sophia Loren to the fashion muses of the '70s like Lauren Hutton and Julie Christie. Each piece reveals a different facet of Kim's innate style.

This Egyptian Hair Chain is available in palladium-plated or 14k gold-plated and features resin cabochons and connector chains at the combs. It is 12" long.

I love the way Kim styles her hair chain, she has been seen sporting hers on many different occasions. I just love this look, it is so unique and different, I have to try it!

Nail Tutorial: Sparkle Gradient Manicure

Hi fashionistas! This post is a tutorial on how to get this awesome sparkle gradient manicure!

Here is what you need:
- Top coat
- Base coat
- OPI by Sephora Looks Like Rain Dear polish 
- OPI Simply Smashing polish
- OPI by Sephora silver glitter top coat 
- Glitter pot for nails by Sephora/ any loose glitter you have- I used Make Up Forever silver glitter (optional)
- OPI drip dry drops (optional)

First start by prepping your nails with a buff and filing. Apply one layer of top coat to all of your nails. Next add two coats of OPI by Sephora Looks Like Rain Dear polish to all of your nails, with appropriate drying time between coats.

Now layer on the OPI Simply Smashing polish, but only to the top half of your nail- this actually looks best if you start about 3/4 of the way up your nail and apply lighter towards the middle and heavier towards the tip of the nail. After your first coat, do a second coat but this time only at the end of the nail, making this part darkest and most covered by the color.

 Next, layer on the glitter top coat all over the nail, do this at your own preference level. If you want even more sparkles, you can also layer on some loose glitter from a glitter pot. Both of these steps are dependent on how much glitter you want on your nails.

To finish of the manicure be sure to apply a generous top coat to seal in all of the sparkles. I always use OPI drip dry drops to make my manicure dry super fast (these drops are a lifesaver, seriously trust me I couldn't live without these!)

The Cambridge Satchel

Say hello to my newest obsession- The Cambridge Satchel Company! These bags have been featured in every fashion-forward, trendy magazine, such as Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire. These chic satchels have been seen from USA to London and all around the world as the hippest and hottest style.

This is seriously the hottest bag of the season, fashionistas- trendy, yet classic and chic, it is a must have! The Cambridge Satchel Company handcrafts each of their bags in Britain from 100% leather. The sizes available are 11", 13", 14", and 15" in a huge variety of colors. They even offer monogramming- how cool!

I am particularly obsessed with their newest line, the 'Fluro' leather satchel. This neon line of bags, available in bright pink, orange, yellow and green, is spot-on trend with the color blocking and bold colors trend happening right now. The sizes available are 11", 13", 14", and 15". I personally adore the 13 inch fluro orange leather satchel- The bag features a main compartment with front pocket, two buckle fastenings,  and a long cross body strap.

Trendy Alert: Army Green Nail Polish!

I know my fashionistas are always looking for the newest and hottest trends- my favorite trends are with nail colors/designs, because they are cheap (approx $10/bottle) and easy to achieve! A fabulous nail color trend that is skyrocketing with style is fatigue greens, as seen all over the catwalk recently. 

I purchased OPI by Sephora's Caught With My Khakis Down, an opaque fatigue green. Check it out on my nails below, isn't it the perfect color?  

The shades is a very unique color- it is a beautiful green, but with touches of gray, perfect to wear with the neutral color scheme that is all the rage this Fall.
