NARS The Multiple in South Beach

NARS The Multiple in South Beach is my newest makeup obsession. This one stick is a combo eye, lip, and cheek color. The fabulous product was born during a 1996 Harper’s Bazaar shoot when Francois Nars chose to use a single lipstick on model Carolyn Murphy’s eyes, lips, and cheeks. Customers began copying the look, and NARS decided to launch a cream color with a texture that would work all over.
This amazing formula is creamy and adds sheer color to eyelids, cheeks, and lips. It blends in easily and the South Beach color has a slight shimmer that warms up the face. You can use it all over your face or just on your cheeks to chisel your cheekbones and contour that area.
There are lots of ways to apply this product, depending on the area that you are applying it to. For cheeks, used as a blush, you can use your fingers or a blush brush to apply the color to the apples of your cheeks and cheekbones. Personally, I usually just apply it straight from the stick, swiping it onto my cheekbones and then blending with my fingers. To use as an eyeshadow, use your fingers to blend and apply the product; you can also use an eyeshadow brush for a more precise application. You can always finish off your look by dabbing some color from the stick onto your lips, I usually finish with a gloss to add some shine and sparkle to the look.
I really am loving this NARS Mulptiple stick in South Beach. There are a bunch of other colors available, so I will definitely be checking those out as well!

You can purchase this product at a NARS beauty counter or at Sephora.

The Beauty Blender

Throw out your old triangle makeup sponge and get with the times, dolls! You wouldn't think that something so simple as a foundation sponge makeup applicator could make such a difference in your beauty routine! But the Beauty Blender, a fabulous new innovation, is that one gem missing in your makeup box.
The Beauty Blender is the first ergonomically designed non-disposable sponge applicator that allows you to flawlessly apply your makeup. The unique shape allows for perfect professional application of your liquid foundation; it spreads your foundation evenly with no streaks or caking.
Unlike traditional sponges, the soft texture and elliptical shape of the Beauty Blender allows foundation to blend into skin with a natural finish and no streaks. Beauty Blender is renowned in the beauty world and is even an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner!
When saturated with water, the sponge will expand to twice its size, making it easy to cover your whole face and still get into all the nooks and crannies. Using the sponge damp prevents it from absorbing excess foundation, so you won’t be wasting any makeup. Saturate your blender with water and squeeze out excess. Pick up a small amount of foundation with the blender and apply to your skin with a tapping motion to distribute and blend. Use the pointed end of the sponge to get into small areas near your nose and eyes.
Your sponge can be cleaned with the available Blender Cleanser—making it super eco-friendly. It comes with an instructional pamphlet so you can quickly master your application technique. Beauty Blender is non-latex and hypoallergenic.

The Beauty Blender is available at Sephora.
Retail Price: One sponge for $20 and two for $26
