My Favorite Cleanser: Fresh

Long story short, I have been having some issues with my eyes lately, basically I scratched my cornea and have to wear glasses now instead of contacts. With this situation, comes having to be really careful about what I am putting in or near my eyes, as they are super sensitive. I knew I needed to switch from my normal Ponds cold cream eye makeup remover to a more natural cleanser. This led me to finding this amazing new product: Fresh's Soy Face Cleanser.

Soy Face Cleanser, Fresh's most popular cleanser for all skin types, is an extra gentle, fragrance-free, multi-tasking gel formula that instantly whisks away every day impurities, removes makeup, and is safe to use on the eye area. Plus, it's soap free and will never leave behind a film or residue.

Soybean extract is a valuable protein that protects the skin and improves texture and resiliency- Soybeans provide amino acids that are essential in helping the skin to retain moisture maintain elasticity and preserve a smooth appearance. They contain a high concentration of isoflavonoids, a type of polyphenol that exhibits antioxidant properties. Soybean germ extract is derived from the soybean; after the hulls and oil are collected, the remaining flakes, which represent this valuable protein rich extract, are crushed into a fine powder.

I really cannot say a single negative thing about this cleanser- it is definitely something that will be a crucial part of my night-time regime from now on. It is SO easy to remove makeup with this product, no heavy rubbing required at all as it is soft and gentile, leaving skin smooth, hydrated and fresh feeling.

Missoni For Target!

I assume that the majority of fashionistas have been counting down the seconds to the day that the Missoni collaboration with Target came out! Watch the commercial below if you haven't yet- it really shows off everything that the collection has to offer. From delightful dresses to fabulous homegoods, Missoni really did a fantastic job with this collaboration. 



September 13th was the lucky day, but unfortunately the online store crashed and due to the overwhelming amount of web traffic kept going down throughout the day. We all know by now that I have a severe obsession with Sephora- I get almost all of my makeup, skincare, and even lost of nail polish from them. The best part about doing the majority of my beauty shopping with Sephora is not only the awesome wide-ranged selection and knowledgable staff, but also the amazing VIB beauty insider program that they offer.

If you aren't a member of Sephora's Beauty Insider rewards program then you MUST join immediately! Beauty Insider is a free rewards program- you receive one point for every one dollar spent at Sephora. You can redeem these points for perks at every 100-points or you can save up and hoard all your points (as I do) and wait for a super awesome 500-point reward. Perks at the 100-point mark include deluxe sized samples such as perfume, mascara, eyeshadows, etc. 500-point perks are usually full sized. Unfortunately their choices are usually hit or miss, but every once in awhile these rewards are awesome so you just have to keep your eyes open and wait for them.

Run do not walk to your nearest Sephora to cash in your points for this amazing 500-point prize. Entitled, "Little Look Goods" by Benefit, this cute kit is an amazing deal! The 500-point perk includes two deluxe sample sizes of Benefit products and one FULL SIZE product! yes, you read that correctly- full size!

The set includes a deluxe sample of Benefit's Bad Gal Lash mascara- I have gotten this sample quite a few times before at Sephora in kits or value sets- I'll be honest in saying that this mascara is just mediocre. However, I am partial because I have an obsession with Bare Escentuals Buxom lash. Plenty of women adore this mascara, and it is a great way to see if it does or does not work for you by trying this free sample.

The next deluxe sample is the Benefit "That Girl" face brightening primer. Primer is so necessary for a perfect makeup look and has to be the first step in everyone's makeup regime. This primer works great and I love having some sample sizes on hand for traveling and such!

Saving the best for last, drumroll please, this kit includes a full size Benefit Dandelion blush!! This blush is sold at Sephora and retails for $28!! I love all of the Benefit blushes and bronzers that I have, and Dandelion is no different- it is a great natural looking blush highlight color.

This is one of the best 500 point gifts I have ever received from Sephora- I love everything in the kit, especially the Dandelion blush. Go pick one up quick while they are still in stock!

Rollerball Fragrance- Burberry Brit Sheer

It's unquestionably difficult to find the perfect fragrance for yourself. In the past I have recommended the Sephora Scent Sampler and blogged all about my absolute favorite scent Vera Wang Princess (click here Fab-YOU-lous: "A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future" ~...) When I went to Sephora the other day I was on a mission: to find myself a new fabulous fragrance to love!

Upon spritzing and testing the billion different fragrances I not only got a headache from the fumes but also got so confused because everything started to smell the same. I found what I thought to be an amazing scent: Burberry Brit Sheer. But how could I be so sure as I was going through a fragrance overload?!

This leads me to the option of a Rollerball version of a fragrance , which is what I ended up purchasing In Burberry Brit Sheer (and am beyond obsessed with, in case you were wondering). For perfumistas, this fragrance has notes of: Bright Yuzu, Pineapple Leaves, Litchi, Mandarin, Grapes, Pink Peony, Peach Blossom, Nashi, White Musk and Creamy Amyris Woods. Its style is seductive, hypnotic and sparkling.

A rollerball is an awesome option because it is usually around 0.3 oz so it is much larger than any sample you would receive, but you aren't committing yourself to the full size, much more expensive version of the fragrance. To give you an idea, the Burberry rollerball cost $25 and a 1.7 oz bottle costs $62. Also, the rollerball is an awesome size to take with you traveling or to just throw in your purse.

A little more on my fabulous Burberry Rollerball fragrance: the packaging is so adorable! Upon opening the box, the fragrance comes in a beautiful silky little bag. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, I adore this fragrance and the rollerball version of it!
