The Royal Wedding
The Royal Wedding was nothing less than divine. The gown, whose details were kept secret until Kate Middleton stepped out to travel to Westminster Abbey, was a stunning ivory with lace floral detail gown that was designed by Britain's Sarah Burton, creative director at Alexander McQueen. Her hair was half up, half down, lightly curled and decorated with a Cartier "halo" tiara that was given to The Queen by her mother on her 18th birthday.
Kate’s earrings were designed by Robinson Pelham. According to the Official Royal Wedding site, the earrings are “diamond-set stylized oak leaves with a pear shaped diamond set drop and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the center.” Their design was inspired new Middleton family coat of arms, which features oak leaves and acorns. Here are some of my favorite photos from the Royal Event this morning.

Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation
The Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation is my new go-to foundation. This foundation has been known to have a strong following from beauty lovers and gurus, so I had to try it out for myself.
The HD Invisible Cover Foundation is my new favorite liquid foundation. It is an oil-free foundation that covers skin imperfections perfectly, giving every user absolutely flawless skin. This foundation is especially known for how fabulous it looks in pictures; however, unlike a lot of other foundations that specialize in this, it still looks amazingly invisible and natural in real life. This is a medium/full-coverage liquid foundation, but certainly is not heavy on the skin, which is a necessity. This foundation leaves your complexion with such a flawless finish, and the best part is that it comes in a whopping 25 different shades! Everyone will absolutely find the perfect match for their skin color, allowing your foundation to look perfectly natural. Since there are so many choices, I would recommend going to your local Sephora to have a makeup salesperson match you with the perfect shade just for you. Ordering any foundation online for the first time could be risky since there are so many subtle differences between shades, so I went to Sephora and was matched with the perfect color for my skin-tone!
I absolutely love the Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation, and I would recommend it as my go-to foundation for all fashionistas.

Tutti Frutti Shellac
As all of my fashionista readers know by now, I LOVE SHELLAC! If you haven't read my previous posts about this amazing new nail technology, check out this link for all the general information Fab-YOU-lous: CND Shellac Hybrid Nail Polish
I recently tried a new Shellac color, Tutti Frutti. I wanted to show you all swatches of what this color actually looks like on nails, since the bottle color can be deceiving. This color couldn't be any more perfect for the summer season that is soon approaching. I love the bright pink pop that you get from Tutti Frutti , and the shine (per usual with all Shellac colors) is incredible!
After almost two weeks of wear- no chips! |
