The Royal Wedding

The Royal Wedding was nothing less than divine. The gown, whose details were kept secret until Kate Middleton stepped out to travel to Westminster Abbey, was a stunning ivory with lace floral detail gown that was designed by Britain's Sarah Burton, creative director at Alexander McQueen. Her hair was half up, half down, lightly curled and decorated with a Cartier "halo" tiara that was given to The Queen by her mother on her 18th birthday.
Kate’s earrings were designed by Robinson Pelham. According to the Official Royal Wedding site, the earrings are “diamond-set stylized oak leaves with a pear shaped diamond set drop and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the center.” Their design was inspired new Middleton family coat of arms, which features oak leaves and acorns. Here are some of my favorite photos from the Royal Event this morning.
