A striking, eye-catching color, Deborah Lippmann calls this her “classic, true red.” This polish has exceeded my expectations, it is without a doubt the perfect red nail lacquer that every woman needs to have in her beauty arsenal. This creamy, opaque red makes for a timeless color as it is a perfect balance between light and dark.

The formula contains green tea extract and protein-building biotin for stronger, healthier nails. Lippmann’s products are all free of toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP, which means they’re actually good for you. How to Get the Perfect Red Lip

As you have probably seen in all the gossip magazines and recent runway pictures, the red lip is a huge trend, and it's certainly not going away any time soon.

Many fashionistas may feel reluctant to try a red lip since it is so bold; So today I want to teach you all how to create the perfect red lip, without having it be "too much", but still enough red to capture this trend.

First, you MUST line your lips with a bright red color- my favorite is Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip Liner in Barcelona (scarlet apple). This is available at Sephora for $18. Next, apply
bright red lipstick. My favorite is NARS Lipstick in Jungle Red (semi matte bright red)- this lipstick is AMAZING, the color is so bold and the product is super creamy. This NARS lipstick is available at Sephora for $24. Last, apply some shiny gloss to finish off our bold look- anything with a bit of sparkle and lots of shine will do the trick!
Remember, when you are applyign a red lip, try to keep the rest of your makeup at a minimum (especially your eyes). This red lip will add so much drama to your look, so keep the liner light (line the inside rim of your bottom lid if you need to apply liner at all), eyeshow light (white shadow looks great with this look), keep the blush to a minumum, and pump up the volume on those lashes for an extra sultry look- Experiment with this hot new trend and enjoy!
