Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick

As promised here is another amazing Bobbi Brown product that is sure to become a summer staple. Meet Bobbi's foundation stick! This innovative Foundation Stick is designed for portability and adjustable coverage- it is easy to apply and blend all over the face or just where you need it.

How do I use it? Keep skin nude or use a tinted moisturizer. Instead of a full face of foundation, spot-apply the stick foundation just where skin is red or uneven.

Your skin will be feeling so much better without a liquid foundation over the summer months, and Bobbi Brown's foundation stick will give you the coverage, lasting power, and lightness that you crave in this hot weather.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick

Oh yes- finally it is sweet sweet summertime here in Boston- and the heat is sweltering! Therefore giving me the amazing excuse of buying new summer makeup :) my new favorite is Bobbi Brown lately so you will be seeing a few posts in the coming weeks on some of the new products I have been using.

Introducing the cult favorite, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick! I have actually had my eye on this for quite some time (ashamed to say like 2 years lol) but I just never purchased it for some reason... Boy did I waste time- If only I knew how amazing this product was!

The shimmer brick gives you the perfect summer shimmery glow, without looking shiny. I couldn't be happier with the look it gives me- and it is super simple and quick to apply. I purchased my shimmer brick in "Rose". Bobbi Brown has this shimmer brick in a few different colors, so check out her website for all of the details and shades.

Apply after your bronzer and blush, sweep your brush through all five shades of Shimmer Brick Compact and dust lightly on cheekbones. Focus on applying shimmer on the top of cheekbones - where light naturally hits the face - for the most flattering look. I have used this as my only color (replacing blush), so it is very versatile depending on the look you want to create.

The Face Blender Brush is a great multi-purpose brush, ideal for dusting Shimmer Brick Compact on cheekbones for a natural-looking, shimmery glow. This Brush can also be used with Sheer Finish Powder, Blush, or Bronzing Powder.

I am Purse Obsessed! Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC

Well here I am again... Posting about yet another purse... I can't help it, I am purse crazy! I HAD to purchase another Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag- Ever since I purchased this bag about a month ago now I haven't been able to stop carrying it!

The MAC bag is so super chic and trendy, perfect for all occasions. I love it! So I wanted to get a smaller version, therefore leading me to the Mini MAC! The Mini MAC is exactly what you would think it is- a miniature version of the original MAC purse. Everything is the same, but just a bit smaller. However, you can definitely still fit all the essentials- a wallet, cell phone, lipstick, car keys, etc will definitely fit no problem.

Since my first MAC was in turquoise, I decided to opt for a more neutral color, which led me to this grey (actually called lavender, but it is definitely grey).

Overall I can't say enough good things about the Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag- and now Mini MAC- I love it! Do you own any purses by Rebecca Minkoff? What is your favorite style? Let me know in a comment on this post!

I have found my new favorite summer blush! I actually discovered this unique gem through a generously sized Birchbox sample (which will probably last me 6 months). Introducing the Cargo Waterproof Blush, a staple for every makeup loving fashionista!

This blush's long-lasting formula is sweat-, heat-, and tear-proof. And it’s packed with subtle light-diffusing minerals that give skin an effortless glow. So how does it work? L-lysine, an amino acid naturally found in your skin, ups the blush’s staying power.

This blush is available in three shades—Ibiza, a shimmery bubblegum pink that goes on surprisingly sheer, Bali, a medium rose, and Los Cabos, a soft tangerine—flatter a range of skin tones. Personally I am using the Ibiza shade, I love it. Don’t be intimidated by the bright hues, but use sparingly—a little goes a long way!
