Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

The MVP of my makeup collection had to be the Urban Decay Naked palette - packed with super wearable shades, this palette is always my go-to for any occasion. Being a girl who adores makeup, I have accumulated and tested countless shadows over the years, and although NARS and TooFaced palettes come in and out of my life, I always go back to my Naked palette- trusted and true!
Naturally, after quite some time of wearing the Naked palette shades, I was ready for a change- I had heard of the Naked 2 palette but didn't think I needed it, thought it was too similar blah blah... Well I finally broke down and caved in- introducing the Naked 2 palette!!! My dreams have come true with the beyond amazing little sister to the original Naked palette! Boy am I LOVING this new palette- I am already so so obsessed!
Here is the low down on the uber fashionable and popular Naked 2 palette:  This palette features a dozen pigment-rich taupe and gray-beige neutrals, plus five exclusive, new shades. This set contains 12 Eyeshadows in the following shades:
Foxy (cream bisque with matte finish), Half Baked (golden-bronze with shimmering finish), Booty Call (shimmering cork), Chopper (copper shimmer with silver microglitter)

Tease (creamy pale brown with matte finish), Snake Bite (dark bronze shimmer with metallic base), Suspect (pale golden beige with shimmering finish), Pistol (light gray-brown with shimmering finish)

Verve (oyster with shimmering finish), YDK (cool bronze shimmer with metallic base), Busted (deep brown with shimmering finish), Blackout (blackest black with matte finish)

The palette also includes a travel-size Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Naked and a double-ended, cruelty-free Good Karma Shadow/Crease Brush.
Urban Decay's packaging takes on a modern feel in Naked 2 with an art-school-inspired tin case and a hinged lid. Compare Naked2 with first Naked palette—packaged in warm, rich brown velvet with gold foil lettering—and you won't be able to resist owning both. Sorry Naked, you will always remain in my heart, but I have officially started my love affair with Naked 2!

NARS The Multiple in South Beach

NARS The Multiple in South Beach is my newest makeup obsession. This one stick is a combo eye, lip, and cheek color. The fabulous product was born during a 1996 Harper’s Bazaar shoot when Francois Nars chose to use a single lipstick on model Carolyn Murphy’s eyes, lips, and cheeks. Customers began copying the look, and NARS decided to launch a cream color with a texture that would work all over.
This amazing formula is creamy and adds sheer color to eyelids, cheeks, and lips. It blends in easily and the South Beach color has a slight shimmer that warms up the face. You can use it all over your face or just on your cheeks to chisel your cheekbones and contour that area.
There are lots of ways to apply this product, depending on the area that you are applying it to. For cheeks, used as a blush, you can use your fingers or a blush brush to apply the color to the apples of your cheeks and cheekbones. Personally, I usually just apply it straight from the stick, swiping it onto my cheekbones and then blending with my fingers. To use as an eyeshadow, use your fingers to blend and apply the product; you can also use an eyeshadow brush for a more precise application. You can always finish off your look by dabbing some color from the stick onto your lips, I usually finish with a gloss to add some shine and sparkle to the look.
I really am loving this NARS Mulptiple stick in South Beach. There are a bunch of other colors available, so I will definitely be checking those out as well!

You can purchase this product at a NARS beauty counter or at Sephora.

NARS Douceurs de Paris Palette

My obsession with NARS ensues with my absolute favorite new palette of eyeshadows, the NARS Douceurs de Paris Palette.
Colors in this palette include:
First Row (from left): Nepal, Violetta , Demon Lover
Second Row (from left): Cordura, Abyssinia, Fez
I adore NARS eyeshadows, as they are extremely pigmented and perfect for blending. By mixing and layering the shadows in this kit, you can create beautiful color combinations that will make everyone fascinated  by your eyes.
This palette features a group of delicate shadows, shimmering accents, and deep colors. The possibilities are endless with this palette: Sweep lids with the earthy neutrals and floral hues, dust the lavender and shimmering rose shades to brighten, and layer with a delicate pearl sheen for ultra femininity. You can even build color for a more dramatic effect with the lovely attention grabbing indigo or create a more smokey look with the velvety cocoa.
Shadow look from the shades in this palette!
With textures ranging from translucent highlights and subtle mattes to shimmering glitters, this can be your one-stop palette for everyday! It has absolutely turned into mine, I take it everywhere with me!

Finally! A New UD Primer Potion Bottle!

Urban Decay has finally answered all of our prayers! When I first wrote about the Urban Decay Primer Potion, my absolute favorite eyelid primer (check out the post here: Fab-YOU-lous: Prime Yourself!), I received comments from my amazing readers about how horrible the bottle was... I couldn't help but unfortunately agree with them- So much of this fabulous product was wasted because you weren't able to reach it at the bottom of the bottle with the wand.
Old bottle design next to the new and improved design
Old bottle
New squeeze tube
Well, fashionistas, you will all be happy to know that Urban Decay has changed their bottle design to a squeeze tube, exclusive to Sephora.
The same fabulous Urban Decay Primer Potion is packaged in a new squeeze tube with a precise needle nose design. My favorite shade is Sin, which is a beautiful shimmering champagne color. This formula is soft, versatile, and provides the ultimate eye prep for creaseless, more vibrant shadow and all-day wear.

Prime on, fashionistas! xoxo

Beauty Insider Gift: Too Faced

If you aren't a member of Sephora's Beauty Insider rewards program then you MUST join immediately! Beauty Insider is a free rewards program- you receive one point for every one dollar spent at Sephora. You can redeem these points for perks at every 100-points or you can save up and hoard all your points (as I do) and wait for a super awesome 500-point reward
Perks at the 100-point mark include deluxe sized samples such as perfume, mascara, eyeshadows, etc. 500-point perks are usually full sized; In the past I have received items such as 3 OPI by Sephora nail polishes, and a full-sized Benefit Coralista. These rewards change frequently and vary per store. Unfortunately their choices are usually hit or miss, but every once in awhile these rewards are awesome so you just have to keep your eyes open and wait for them.
Well if you have been saving all of your points, as I have been, and are waiting for the perfect 500-point perk, now is your chance! Sephora is finally offering an amazing perk- the Too Faced "Eye Love" eyeshadow palette with a bonus deluxe size sample of Too Faced's Shadow Insurance
This exclusive Too Faced palette features 8 different shadows, 2 of the most popular shades from each of their 4 best-selling kits: The Natural Eye, Smoky Eye, Naked Eye, and Romantic Eye. This palette also includes instructions (as seen above) for how to perfectly create these 4 different looks.
Eyeshadow shades include: Heaven, Push-Up, Silver Spoon, Smolder, Satin Sheets, Like a Virgin, Honeymoon, and Ever After.
The kit additionally includes a deluxe sized sample of Too Faced Shadow Insurance. This is the perfect size for traveling and surprisingly lasts a really long time! I'll be honest, this isn't my absolute favorite eyeshadow primer, I much prefer Urban Decay's Primer Potion in Sin, but this still does the job just fine.
Beauty Insiders: If you have some points saved up run over to Sephora ASAP to get this amazing palette! If you aren't already a Beauty Insider, sign up today- It is free, fast, and totally worth it, go on Sephora's website to receive even more information!
