Nordstrom Haul - Anniversary Sale - Fall 2015

I picked up some really fabulous pieces that I know I will get tons of use out of this coming Fall and Winter seasons. Is it crazy that all this new stuff makes me so excited for Fall?! I feel like summer hasn't even happened yet - so crazy to think that Fall is right around the corner! But these adorable new pieces really make me excited for the Fall 2015 fashion trends.

It's Officially Boot Shopping Season!

With the weather starting to occasionally chill up, boots are starting to inch their way back into every fashionista's wardrobe. Most of us are probably excited by now to get into some different styles of clothing for the Fall (atleast I know I am), so I was excited to get out and so some boot shopping for the season!

These beautiful Frye boots caught my eye in Neiman Marcus, and I had to have them! The official name of these boots are the Cindy Slouch and the color name is sand. 

Their soft, absolutely stunning tan leather is like no other pair of boots in my collection. I especially love the distressed detailing on these boots, making them seem like an old, easy-going classic in anyone's wardrobe.

Perfect for the Fall to Winter transition time, these boots will add so much to any ensemble, I have already paired them with an adorable flowy chiffon dress and they looked fabulous! I can't wait to wear them even more!

Fabulous Fall Accessories!

It is a new school year, so why not outfit your life with fabulous fun things to make you actually excited to go to class?! Laptop accessories and cute class items are a great place to start!

I purchased this fabulous Vera Bradley laptop skin at a boutique in Connecticuit and I just absolutely love it! It comes in a large sheet to fit up to a 17" laptop with a guide to cut it for all laptop sizes. It only took me about 10 minutes to cut it to match my laptop's size and to apply it. 

This removable, protective cover dresses up any ordinary laptop surface and doesn't leave behind any sort of sticky reside if you decide to take it off. I love the pattern that I got, called "Very Berry Paisley", but tons of others are available online.

Another lovely and fun treat that I purchased for this school year is a fabulously colorful journal/notebook that I literally take with me everywhere to jot down notes at meetings. This gorgeous print is called "Hope Garden". 

And of course with a journal you need a pen. I purchased this beautiful pen to go with my notebook, the whole set is perfect together!

Spikes and studs are the ultimate trend for accessories this Fall. I especially love sporting some edgy studs on my shoes, and no moderately priced shoe designer does it better than Sam Edelman.

Personally, this is my absolute favorite trend right now, and it is as hot as ever- Over the Knee Boots! When styled correctly, over the knee boots will instantly take an outfit from drab to fab! This hot look is being seen on celebrities, socialites, and fashionistas everywhere right now.

Affordable: Steve Madden Catepult

This boots by Steve Madden are perfect for any over the knee trend-seeking fashionista. I especially love the buckle detailing behind the knee, it adds an extra bit of edge. They are available in black or brown leather, and retail for the reasonable price of $129.95.


Steal: Slouchy Suede Thigh High Boot from GoJane

 Seriously, fashionistas, how can you go wrong with this steal?! These fabulous boots are available in black, royal blue, and plum red (although I would seriously only recommend purchasing the black ones). These over the knee boots are faux suede with a slouchy fit and top cuff. And ringing in at... drum roll please... $36.30 how could you pass up this incredible steal?! Trend Alert- Studded Boots

The motorcycle boot trend has been 'in' for quite awhile now, but it has been interpreted in a few different ways for this Fall season- I covered the Lace-up boots trend in a previous post (Click here if you didn't get a chance to read it- Fab-YOU-lous: Trend Alert: Lace up Boots) and now I want to cover another trend with boots which is huge right now: studding.

Studded boots have been gracing the feet of celebrities and doing a fierce diva stomp down runways all around the world for this Fall season- studded boots are HUGE right now.

My favorite reasonable priced studded boot of the season is the Sam Edelman 'Lockhart' Boot (seen above)- These fierce studded motorcycle boots are amazing in my opinion- The studs add the perfect amount of sparkle and toughness to complete any look. They scream trendy and edgy. These boots are available at Nordstrom for $300. 

The MOST AMAZING splurge studded boot of this season is the Christian Louboutin Egoustina Tall Mc Boot. I have died and went to heaven every time I lay my eyes on these beauties- Could it get any more amazing than this stunning boot?! The spike detail cap toe and back belt are perfection, the leather is beyond beautifully gorgeous, and of course topping it all off with Christian Louboutin's signature bold red leather sole makes this shoe my #1 choice for Fall.
