A Touch of Edge and a Splash of Sparkle

I am beyond obsessed with one of my most recent purchases- this flawless Sam Edelman 'Una' Peep Toe Bootie! This amazing shoe comes in both black and taupe suede- I personally purchased the black because I am always sporting darker hues, but it was such a hard choice- This shoe is such a show-stopper!

Although, this high heeled peep toe bootie may look difficult to walk in, it surprisingly SO is not! Although it measures in at almost 5 inches tall, the heel is chunky and there is a platform, all making it much easier to maneuver in. Additionally, the bottom of the bootie has a rubber soled grip to it- like an actual boot would- making this heel SUPER easy to walk in, especially, I would imagine, in slippery conditions.

The design of this bootie is fantastically fabulous- My favorite detail is the metallic trim highlights on the inside of the heel, around the peep toe, and under the platform. It is hard to ignore the delightfully brilliant beadwork along the side of this bootie- stunning is an understatement.

Overall, it is obvious that this bootie is amazing- I have never seen anything like this before and I would 100% recommend this heel to any fashionista, like myself, who adores glamour with a touch of sparkle and edge!

Verdict= FABULOUS!!! (5/5 stars)

You can purchase the Sam Edelman 'Una' Peep Toe Bootie at Nordstrom

Reebok Easy Tones

I'm definitely not a sporty type of girl at all, nor am I really a work out fanatic, so sneakers aren't usually my shoe of choice; however, I heard so many good things about Reebok's Easy Tone sneakers that I finally had to give in and buy a pair of my own.
This comfortable shoe with innovative technology has been promoted and endorsed all throughout Hollywood with celebrities, such as the Kardashians and Kendra Wilkinson, swearing by these shoes.
I wear sneakers when I go out with my Mom walking, go to the gym, or run with my boyfriend, so I figured that they certainly wouldn't go to waste- the real question was: Will they actually work? Reebok Easy Tones are supposed to help tone your leg muscles with every step you take. The specially designed sole of this sneaker has a sort of ball balance pod on it, which creates instability as you walk. This promotes toning your calves, glutes, and hamstrings as you walk, making your work out more effective.
I have only had mine for a few weeks, so I obviously haven't noticed any huge changes in the toning of my legs (yet), but I do enjoy walking on them- It feels like you are "walking on air"! Even if no real changes occur with these shoes, I still like them very much. I got the black color, which goes great with everything, and they are very comfortable to wear. Reebok also offers many other colors (a blue and white version shown below), and a version of the Easy Tones created specifically for runners.
Overall, I like my Reebok Easy Tone sneakers very much, plan on continuing to wear them, and hope to see results!

Verdict= Love them! (4/5 stars, but potential to be 5/5 if I see some results!)

You can purchase Reebok Easy Tone sneakers at Reebok or at department stores (I purchased mine at Nordstroms)
Retail Price: around $100

My Amazing New Bedroom!

WOW! That is all I have to say about my fabulous new room! I have never once in my life ever redecorated my room, but while I was in NYC for a month it was completely refurbished and redone and I couldn't be happier with it.

Prior to this, I had plain white walls, covered up with childhood/teenage random remnants, posters, pictures, etc. and dark pinkish burgundy carpets. It was in dire need of being redone, but no one ever wanted to do it because I have SO much stuff, and it would just be such a colossal disaster mess to move it all. But it was finally done and I couldn't be happier with the finished product!
I got my walls painted a fierce shade of pink, my carpets redone in a stone gray (castle gray as they called it- I always wanted to live in a castle lol), and a new white bed frame. I got an amazing poster for my main wall that is in a black frame- it is of a girl (who my mom said looks like me, I don't really agree that much, but I guess it sort of does) with "Glamour Girl" written in cursive above her head- how fabulous and perfect is that?!

Before I had even seen the final product of my new redesigned bedroom, I purchased four small pictures from an artist in Union Square NYC. The pictures are sketches of four separate fashionista ladies in Rome, Paris, London, and NYC. I flamed them in black frames and hung them up- they're perfect!
Reorganizing, cleaning, and redesigning my bedroom was such an amazing thing to do- I LOVE spending time in my room now that it looks the way it does! My bedroom is so fabulous and comfortable now, and just feels like a place that is all mine and made for me!

Have any of you fashionistas redesigned rooms lately?? Tell me about it in a comment to this post!

My Most-Loved Necklace

I have always been a jewelry lover, but never in my life have I ever loved a necklace more than this one. My classic Chanel long pearl necklace with interlocking C's is my absolute FAVORITE!

I dreamed about purchasing this necklace for a very long time, and finally splurged and received it as an early Christmas present last year from my amazing parents :) I had seen countless pictures of celebrities, socialites, and fashionistas alike sporting their Chanel pearl necklaces, which only increased my love and obsession for it, and made me want it even more.

This Chanel piece is classic and timeless- pearls, I promise you, will never go out of style. The interlocking C's are not too flashy or bold, but still let you know that the necklace is Chanel. You can wear this piece long (my preferred way) or double it up and wear it short. I love wearing this necklace with a simple black dress, black tights, and black & white shoes, which totally reinforces the classic Chanel black & white look.
Whenever I put this necklace on it truly makes me feel special- it is the most beautiful necklace I own and I know that I will treasure, appreciate, and love it for the rest of my life.

Do any of YOU have a piece of jewelry that makes you feel special?? How do you wear it?? Please share in a comment on this post, I would LOVE to hear about it! Thanks for reading, fashionistas!

A Shoe Necessity

Being a fashionista with a countless number of shoes, it is easy to notice which styles I actually wear frequently and which other styles end up just collecting dust in my closet. One shoe that I have found is actually a necessity and my most frequently worn is the ballerina flat, and more specifically, a pure black plain ballet flat shoe.

I know that the word "plain" is something that I personally cringe at due to my obsession with glitz, glamour, and typically being over-the-top. However, in this case, being plain is a necessity. Something that every fashionista needs is a plain black ballet flat- I promise it will be the most worn shoe in your closet.

Reasons why= This shoe will provide you comfort, while still allowing you to be able to look cute and chic. Black goes with everything (except navy, obvs), which makes this shoe universal and perfect with almost any outfit. The "plain" aspect of it is so important because this shoe is meant to just be a shoe, nothing more- it is perfect for days when you do not want to take anyones eyes off of your fabulous ensemble, or on days when you just need something functional yet stylish.

My black ballet flats have proven to be my most loved shoe out of all because of their cute, fun, and chic appearance- providing comfort and practicality is just the cherry on top! Experiment with this trend and enjoy!
