Chanel Flower Flip Flops

Introducing my favorite flip flops of all time: my Chanel flower flip flops. I searched high and low for these beauties for quite some time- when I found them at Saks Fifth Ave in NYC I scooped them up immediately.

These amazing flip flops are in the classic Chanel black and white. The adorable Camilla flower, chanel's signature detail, features a discretely chic CC logo.

I can't say anything but great things about these gorgeous Chanel flip flops! They are chic, sophisticated and classic- I adore them!

Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer: "My Old Flame"

This nail lacquer is an absolute must-have! Fashionistas, get ready to run (not walk) to your nearest Nordstrom/Neiman/Lord & Taylor to grab this beautiful color. I introduce to you, the amazingly classic, chic, and bold My Old Flame.

A striking, eye-catching color, Deborah Lippmann calls this her “classic, true red.” This polish has exceeded my expectations, it is without a doubt the perfect red nail lacquer that every woman needs to have in her beauty arsenal. This creamy, opaque red makes for a timeless color as it is a perfect balance between light and dark.

The formula contains green tea extract and protein-building biotin for stronger, healthier nails. Lippmann’s products are all free of toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP, which means they’re actually good for you. Unless you've been living under a rock for years, you know how huge of a trend animal prints are, especially leopard print. Almost every brand out there has leopard print pieces featured in their fall collections, and my all-time favorite brand Chanel isn't any different.

Chanel has created this TO DIE FOR purse (seen above) for their fall collection.

The Chanel Strass and Tweed Leopard Classic Flap is a trendy and fun addition to the classic brand. This bag features the classic Chanel flap bag style in a tweet fabric. The leopard print pattern is created by strategic placement of individual crystals over the entirety of the purse. I adore this bag's trendy and fun, yet chic design. I wish I could have this bag, but if I were to splurge on a $4,000 Chanel purse (...again lol) I would probably prefer it in leather instead of tweed; either way though, I adore this bag and wish I could wear it!

Hunter Rain Boots

With all the rainy days that I have experienced lately, I figured that I would tell all you ladies and gents about my rainy day must have boots- These Hunter Tall Original Rain Boots are the perfect accessory for any rainy day!

These shoes are a classic, made for both men, women, and children. Hunters come in both short and tall versions. In addition, these boots come in a huge variety of colors. The rain boot is made completely of rubber, which repels any water and keeps your whole foot, ankle, and leg dry no matter what. The rubber sole has texture that provides much traction, allowing the wearer to have a slip free experience.

I personally own the shiny black tall version and LOVE them. These boots go with everything and add a sophisticated look to any rainy day ensemble. These boots look fabulous with skinny jeans or tights and a dress- no matter what you choose to wear on a rainy day, I promise you will be so happy that you have these boots on your feet!

Another fun element that Hunter brings to the table are the adorable "Welly socks" for inside of your boots (pictures of sock inside and outside of boot are shown above). These socks are made specifically for the Hunter boot family. The Hunter Welly socks are designed to add warmth and comfort. These socks are available in a wide range of colors, pattern, fabrics and styles- These range from zebra print to stripes to plain black. The cost per pair ranges from $25-$40.

I would recommend ordering a size down (especially if you are a 1/2 size because Hunters only come in whole sizes 5-10). If you have a larger calf or find the original boot to be uncomfortable around your calf, order the Hunter 'Huntress' Rain boot, which is the original boot with an updated more roomy shaft for added space and comfort.

Want It Wednesday!

I am beyond in love with this stunning bag- This Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Alma PM is so FABULOUS! The Alma comes in three sizes: BB, PM, MM (from smallest to largest).
This bag has been seen on a countless number of celebrities and socialites, and is one of Louis Vuitton's classic/signature bags, so it will NEVER go out of style!
I adore Louis Vuitton's Vernis leather (I have an agenda in LV's stunning bright Red Vernis- the official color name is Pomme D'Amour- it is seen in the photo above). This leather has a patent/shiny finish to it and has the LV logo stamped into it. At first, I worried about wear and aging on this bag: Would it crack or scratch easily? Thankfully, this has not been the case at all- even with my agenda, which gets daily use, the leather still remains flawless!
This leather gives off a shine like no other, making this bag even more incredibly elegant and timeless. I am 100% asking for this bag in either the PM or MM size for Christmas this year- I am leaning towards the PM in Amarante (deep black cherry/plum color- seen in pictures above and below this paragraph) or splurging for the MM in Pomme D'Amour (stunning bright red, which would match my agenda)... YES I can't wait to get this bag, I LOVE THE ALMA!

Trend Alert: Cloche Hats

Attention, fashionistas! I am loving this hot new trend for fall- the Cloche Hat! This style is usually made of wool felt materials, which will not only keep your head warm in the coming chilly months, but also provide you with vibrant and lasting stunning colors that will add that extra pop to any outfit.
Above is one of my favorite cloche hats of the season- Tarnish's Dip Due Wool Felt Cloche. This graceful cloche is detailed with a narrow belt at the crown. This design comes in a plethora of colors, one of my favorites being the stunning Burgundy Viola (picture seen below).
This hat style is trendy and very 'in' for Fall. This style is also extremely chic, posh, and timeless. If you grace the streets donning one of these cloche hat styles, you will definitely make heads turn! I love this style, and will definitely be purchasing a Cloche hat for Fall. Perfect for ALL Seasons

I am loving this Kische Open Front Cardigan that I picked up a few weeks ago at Nordstrom! It was sort of a random impulse buy, but I am always in the market for cardigans, shrugs, etc. This cardigan is perfectly fashionable, classic, and sophisticated, while also providing comfortable functional style!
I am SO glad that I purchased this- First, it is SUCH a reasonable price (only $39). It is made very well out of divine fabric- it is so comfortable and stretchy. It is very lightweight, but is long sleeve, making it PERFECT for all seasons! I am wearing it right now as I write this post hehe ;)
I personally purchased this piece in black (as seen above), but this cardigan is available in so many colors! Kische makes this amazing cardigan in black, heather oatmeal, spiced rose, heather grey melange, mulberry purple, and twilight blue. No matter what your style and fancy, you will definitely find a color that suits your personality! I am considering purchasing the spiced rose and mulberry purple colors myself because I love the black so much!

Tory Burch Sandals

I have always loved Tory Burch shoes, especially flats, as I blogged about previously (Click Here: Fab-YOU-lous: Tory Burch Reva Flats). But her flats aren't all that are fabulous, her fun summer sandals are amazing too!
I purchased the Tory Burch 'Thora' sandal in black at the end of last summer, and I absolutely adore them! I am usually anti-flip flops, unless they are classy and most importantly, NOT made of rubber- So obviously, these meet all of my rules for the perfect summer flip flop, and I would totally recommend them to Tory Burch loving fashionistas!
I have worn them a lot this summer and have found that they really wear well over time. The 'Thora' is a patent leather thong sandal that features the classic silver Tory Burch logo medallion in the center of the strap. A very fun detail, especially for Tory Burch fans, is the sandal's embossed lining with the Tory Burch brand logo- it is discreet (especially when on your foot), but adds a little extra detail to the shoe. These flip flops are stylish, classic, chic, and they will match with almost any outfit!
The only issue with these sandals is that they are quite thin (as you can see above). If you want to walk a long distance, then you should opt for a different and more supportive shoe choice for the day, as these will get uncomfortable after a long day of walking (if you still wish to wear sandals and want something super comfortable to walk in, I would recommend Jack Rogers sandals- Click here for more info: Fab-YOU-lous: Jack Rogers Navajo Sandals). To get around this thin-soled comfort issue though, I wear them out to dinner, the movies, or a girl's night- places where I know that I won't be doing a lot of walking, but still need to look stylish and fashionable! Either way, I love these shoes and they are yet another Tory Burch item that remains a staple in my summer wardrobe!

Amazing Fashion Reference Book

This book is like the Bible of fashion history- 'Fashion Game Book: A World History of 20th Century Fashion' by Florence Muller is a must have for fashion lovers! This book is basically a history book of fashion in the 20th century that teaches the reader about every designer who has majorly influenced an important part of fashion.
This books spans from the 1800s to present day fashion, covering designs from Paul Poiret and Madeleine Vionnet all the way through to the present day fashion icons Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs. The colorful and informative photos in the 'Fashion Game Book' will captivate you and transport you throughout the periods of different designs. This book is essential in understanding the history of fashion and the art of appearance.
It is super fun to test your fashion and designer history knowledge with sporadic interactive quizzes throughout the book- these quizzes ask you to match up designers and their muses, to arrange the Chanel No. 5 bottles in chronological order, which iconic patterns represent what brands, quotes from designers, and more!
I thought I knew a lot about fashion until I read this book and realized how much more I needed to learn- This book is the key to understanding fashion and its importance in the history of the world. I have gathered so much amazing and crucial knowledge from reading this book, and it is something that I will keep forever as a reference. You can open this book at page 1 with almost no knowledge of fashion, and close it at page 350 possessing extraordinary knowledge about fashion. I would completely recommend this book to any fashionista who loves fashion and wants to learn more- it contains an incredible plethora of valuable information.

Excuse Me, Do You Have the Time?

I can't stress enough the importance of wearing a watch everyday- It has become an absolute staple and a necessity in my day-to-day wardrobe! The best thing about watches is that there are so many styles and brands to choose from- from super trendy and large to classy and discreet- it would be impossible with all of the options out there to not find a watch that didn't suit your every fancy!
Whether you are a man or woman, listen to this advice- Wear a watch everyday! It is not only fashionable, but also very functional. In my future profession as a business person, wearing a watch is especially key- in a meeting you can't just whip out your cell phone to check the time (you don't want to seem rude do you?); Rather just discreetly glancing down at your wrist to check the time is key when you are at meetings or presentations and do not want to seem rude or as though you aren't paying attention by taking your cell phone out.
This love of watches all started on my 18th birthday when I got the most amazing watch of my dreams as a big present from my parents- Ever since that day I have not left my house without this watch on my wrist. I love it so much and it is so special to me- it means so much and it makes me feel super special everyday!
Just a few weeks ago though, I cheated on my favorite watch ever and bought a new one! Not because I didn't love my watch anymore (which I 1000000% still do and still wear it basically everyday), but rather because I needed a less expensive watch to take traveling with me. I also wanted something a bit less classic and sophisticated, and more youthful and trendy. This led me to purchasing this fabulous Michael Kors Twin Row Crystal Chronograph Watch. Its big face and bold crystal design is so stunning and different from my other watch, I can't help but love it!

Want It Wednesday

I am shocked that I haven't written this post yet because this bag is my most wanted/ longest wanted item EVER. This week's 'Want It' item is none other than the timeless Hermès Birkin! *swoon*

Hermès is it for me: the most fabulous luxury brand out there no question! I absolutely adore everything Hermès creates- the craftsmanship of this leather brand is impeccable and unbeatable. A Hermès Birkin starts at around $10,000 for a standard purse. However, Birkin bags can sell for over $100,000- these bags use rare leathers (such as crocodile) and some even have been adorned with diamonds!

Literally everyone that is anyone has one (or many) of these bags. Some celebrity Hermès Birkin lovers are: Victoria Beckham (owner of one of the largest and most expensive Hermès collections in the world), Oprah, Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian, Katie Holmes, every woman on The Real Housewives of NYC, and the list will go on forever... This bag is the epitome of sophistication, luxury and class.

I cannot wait until the day that I walk into Hermès myself and purchase my dream bag- a 35cm Blue Jean Togo Leather Hermès Birkin with Palladium hardware :) Until then, I will continue putting pennies into my Hermès Birkin fund and saving up for my dream bag, which I WILL own before I am 30 years old (goal for myself I made like 4 years ago)! Until then... I will continue dreaming of the smell of Hermès leather every night :)
