Deborah Lippmann "Bad Romance" Nail Lacquer

Say hello to my new favorite fierce nail polish- BAD ROMANCE by Deborah Lippmann. This polish is inspired by none other than the fabulous Lady Gaga.
This blackened fuschia glitter nail lacquer is perfect in every single way. Amazing on toes, fingers, or both, I promise everyone will compliment you on this unique shade.
This is actually my first Deborah Lippmann nail polish purchase, and I couldn't be happier with it. I have already ordered another color, which will be arriving soon, so look forward to a post about the beautiful Hollywood starlet red lacquer, My Old Flame.
When it comes to nail polish, Lippmann can do no wrong. Lippmann’s products are all free of toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP, which means they’re actually good for you. The best thing about Lippmann polishes is not only that the colors are fabulous beyond belief, but that they last chip-free for SO LONG! You get what you pay for, I promise!
You can purchase this polish online and in department stores (Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom)
Retail Price: $18

Burberry Gaga?

This Burberry Giant Check Wool Snood could only be pulled off by one fierce diva! I love the style, but I can't help but automatically think about my Lady Gaga costume for Halloween- striking similarity anyone?
Burberry Snood
Me as Lady Gaga for Halloween
Without wearing this piece in "snood" fashion, which is clearly dramatic and probably wouldn't work for everyone on a daily basis, you also have the option of wearing this fun Burberry item as a sort-of scarf, as seen in the photo below.
This piece could definitely be fun for a diva moment, or a day you're feeling ferociously Gaga ;)

You can purchase this Burberry Giant Check Wool Snood at Saks Fifth Avenue
Retail Price: $325

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I hope that everyone has a fabulous day! I had such a blast this Halloween weekend- I thought that I would share some pictures of my costumes with you all!
For one night I was the infamous LADY GAGA- I loved this costume, I really think the lightning bolt made the whole look come together.
For our big Halloween party, I was a dead zombie bride. My boyfriend (who is such a good sport) dressed along with me. We had gashes in our clothing and dirt, stitches, and blood everywhere. It was super creepy and scary, but I LOVED it!

Have a fabulous and safe Halloween, fashionistas! xoxo

Trend Alert: Lace up Boots

Calling all fashionistas, we have spotted a hot new trend for Fall: Lace up Boots! It would be hard to ignore this huge emerging trend- This style has been seen all over the runways, on tons of celebrities, and in every single stylish store's looks for Fall.

This style comes in both flat and very high heeled versions. The most fun thing about this trend is that it encompasses such different types of styles: they offer a military, Victorian, and grungy chic vibe. This style is not only versatile style-wise, but also very practical for the Fall/Winter season.

Lace up boots are so cool and tough- they can really change the entire direction that the style of an outfit has. Try pairing some flat, distressed lace up ankle boots with a flirty, girly, ruffly dress for an effortlessly amazing and trendy look.

One of my favorite flat lace up boots of this season is seen in the photo above. The Trouve 'Sabrina' distressed leather ankle boot can be styled like Rachel Bilson's look (as seen above) to get her fun girly grunge look. This rugged distressed boot has two buckle straps and a cool fold over cuff. It is made of leather, so it would be perfect for the slippery and wet Fall/Winter season! It is available at Nordstrom and you can purchase this boot for $150.

You can take this trend in another direction by getting a high heeled version of the Lace up boot. This can dress up any outfit and give it a sort of Victorian vibe. My favorite high heeled lace up boot of the season can be seen in the photo above: It is the Miz Mooz 'Solis' Boot. This boot is made of leather and is so feminine and chic! You can purchase this boot at Nordstrom for $220.

Even the outlandish style icon, Miss Lady Gaga, has been seen out in her own version of the lace up boot style- although definitely crazy, and something that basically no one other than Gaga could ever pull off, she is always on the cusp of new trends and willing to experiment with fashion. So, as you can see above, even Gaga has been seen sporting this fun lace up boot trend.

The possibilities are truly endless with this fun, effortlessly cool new style- Experiment with this fun new trend & enjoy!

Stay Fabulous xoxo

Oh Gaga, What Have You Done?!

I, like every other person on earth right now, love Lady Gaga- I think she is a superstar artist and risk taking fashionista; however, was this risk too much? Fashionistas everywhere have been in shock and awe of Lady Gaga's choice to recently stud/bedazzle her Hermes Birkin bag.

For those of you who do not know the history of this brand, Hermes is the timelessly chic leather company that produces a purse called the Birkin, which is the most sought after symbol of luxury for fashionistas all around the globe (there are wait lists sometimes of over a year to purchase one). For this specific worshipped purse, prices run around and upwards of the $10,000 range.

This is not the first time that Lady Gaga has used a Birkin bag as a piece of art... Back in April of this year Gaga was seen at a Tokyo airport carrying a white Hermes Birkin with "I love little monster, Tokyo love" written in Japanese in black marker across the front of the bag. Gaga posted more photos of the Birkin to her Twitter account which also showed the back covered entirely with random writings and scribbles in Japanese.

Now be it Lady Gaga, or anyone at all, the thought of defacing (or making art?) out of a Birkin makes me absolutely cringe, and I know I do not stand alone in this feeling. But at the same time I respect Gaga's right to do whatever she wants to her Birkin bags because they are hers and she definitely earned them.

What do you think?? Destroyed, Artistic, Interesting or Cringe-worthy?
