Water Marble Nail Art

Have you ever heard of "water marble" nail art?? Well, neither had I until a fabulous friend tipped me off about it. Water marbling uses a very unique process to make your nails look like the picture above!
Water marbling is such a different nail art process because you actually put drops of nail polish into a cup of water (crazy right?!). After putting a number of drops in, you use a toothpick or wooden stick to create a design within the polish, which is floating on top of the water. When you are done with your design, you dip your finger nail into it and push off the extra polish with the stick. Voila- there is your uniquely different water marble nail design!
Here is a great video that I found on YouTube that shows you exactly how to do water marble nail art- Also, you can just search for 'Water Marble Nail Art' on YouTube or Google and a ton of videos/pictures will come up.

Both me and my friend separately attempted to do water marbling on our nails after we explored the many YouTube video tutorials we found- Unfortunately, it was a lot harder than this talented woman makes it look. It also took a very long time just to do one nail (with the set-up and everything); however, I do think that it would become easier with practice (because we really had no idea what we were doing lol). It was a lot of fun to try this extremely interesting process, and I thought I would share it with all of you! Thanks for reading!

Stay Fabulous xoxo
